Templates & Versions

Templates your firm owns

The work your firm repeats — proposals, annual reviews, planning summaries — becomes a library of finished deliverables your whole team reuses. Adapt one with AI for the next client, or duplicate it and change the values yourself. What a client saw last quarter stays exactly what they saw.

How do advisory firms standardize recurring client deliverables?

In PREZENTD, any finished deliverable — document or slide deck — can be saved as a Reusable Template. PREZENTD writes a Reuse Recipe describing what stays and what changes for the next client, which the firm can edit. Reusing it takes one of two paths: Adapt with AI, a single bounded AI pass that swaps in the new client's facts for about one credit, or Duplicate & edit, an instant copy that opens in edit mode and costs nothing. Every version is snapshot-stable, so what a client received never changes, even as the template keeps improving.

A library, not a one-off

Build your annual review once. Reuse it for every household in minutes.

Save any deliverable you've finished as a Reusable Template — the whole thing, styling and structure and all, exactly as it was approved. PREZENTD then writes a Reuse Recipe: its purpose and audience, what it needs for the next run, and section by section what should stay and what should change. The recipe is yours to edit. Anyone on your team can pull the template from the library and produce the next household's version without rebuilding a thing.

  • Documents and slide decks both work as templates.
  • The Reuse Recipe is written by PREZENTD and editable by you; your edits win until you ask for a rewrite.
Two ways to reuse

Adapt it with AI, or duplicate it and edit it yourself.

Adapt with AI forks the template and runs one bounded AI pass guided by the recipe and whatever you add — the new client's transcript, an intake PDF, a holdings CSV. It sweeps out the previous client's facts first and costs about one credit. Duplicate & edit makes an exact copy, instantly, with no AI and no credit, and opens it in edit mode so you can change the names and numbers by hand. The rule of thumb: content changes, adapt; only values change, duplicate.

  • Adapt with AI: one bounded pass, the recipe as the guide, about one credit.
  • Duplicate & edit: instant, free, no model call. Remix forks any deliverable for a different client.
Built for the client in front of you

A pre-retiree review shouldn't read like a business-owner proposal — and it won't.

When you adapt a template for a client, the builder reads what your firm knows about them: the "How to present to this client" guidance on their Client Profile, their segment's what-wins and objections, precedents from similar engagements, and the Sources you attached. The template supplies the structure your firm trusts; the client's context supplies the emphasis. Nothing is configured per template; it comes from the meetings you've logged.

  • Client guidance, segment guidance, and precedents shape every adapted version.
  • Firm Voice and your brand contract apply on every reuse, automatically.
Versions that hold steady

What a client saw last quarter stays exactly what they saw.

Keep improving your templates without worrying about what's already in clients' hands. Every version a client received stays fixed at what you presented, even as the template behind it evolves. Shared links render the snapshot they were created from, and every deliverable keeps a full version history with a timestamp and the person who made each change.

  • Improve a template anytime; nothing you already shared changes.
  • Full version history of how your firm's deliverables evolved, with attribution.
FAQ

Questions advisors actually ask

What is a Reusable Template in PREZENTD?

A Reusable Template is a finished deliverable — a document or a slide deck — that your firm has saved to its library to reuse, kept exactly as it was approved, together with a Reuse Recipe. You can save any deliverable as a template after the fact, or tell the builder up front that you are building one. Templates live in the firm's workspace, so everyone on the team reuses the same best work.

What is a Reuse Recipe?

A Reuse Recipe is the guidance PREZENTD writes when you save a template: its purpose and audience, what inputs the next run needs, and, section by section, what should stay and what should change for a new client. It also notes when the template still carries a real client's facts so they are swept out on reuse. The recipe is editable; your edits are kept until you explicitly ask PREZENTD to rewrite it.

Does reusing a template use credits?

It depends on the path. Duplicate & edit is free: it copies the template instantly with no AI call and opens it in edit mode. Adapt with AI is one bounded AI pass guided by the recipe and typically costs about one credit. Remixing a deliverable for a different client is a normal build and spends credits like any other generation.

Can I edit a deliverable without using AI?

Yes. Click any text in a deliverable to edit it in place, or use the Edit Fields panel, which lists every editable text field grouped by section (or by slide for decks). Neither calls a model or spends a credit. Formatting and structural changes go through a review-chat revision so the deliverable stays on-brand.

Will improving a template change deliverables I already shared?

No. Each version preserves its own snapshot, so editing or improving the template later does not alter versions you have already built or shared. Presentation links render from that snapshot and stay exactly as the recipient first saw them.

Can my whole team use the same templates?

Yes. Templates live in your firm's workspace, where every member can browse the library, read the recipe, and reuse a template with Adapt with AI or Duplicate & edit. Credits are counted per organization, not per seat. Slide-deck templates need a Pro or Team plan.
